This is a simple explanation of how effective safety programs work. Management support, effective leadership and standards are the foundation of the wall we want to build to insure effective programs. Awareness is a key component as well. All levels of employees need to be ware of the hazards associated with their work. WE need to do effective audits, look at our history to understand past mistakes and thoroughly investigate injuries.
